At the repair yard, he is repaired and has his final inspection, before going back to collect the choir. Later, Mavis comes and takes Toby back to the repair yard to be mended properly. Then Toby hears Daisy Daisy finds it very serious that she has actually broken down, then he promises to get the choir to the concert on time after they get inside of her. She sees Toby, but he is too busy taking the workmen to help her. Toby feels awful thinking he has let everybody down. She slows down, diverts to a siding, and while grinding to a halt she breaks down. But as she leaves, she begins to blow black smoke. He also asks if everything is alright, but Lady still refuses to admit that there is something wrong with her.

Toby asks if Lady took on enough water at the fitters yard, but once again, Thomas claims that nothing is wrong with him.Īt a level crossing, Lady sees Percy. But when he stops at a signal, he is red in the face and feels really tired. Lady just says she is fine, and she sets off to deliver the children. Realizing it is Lady, he asks if she had her final inspection. Thomas notices the noise, and asks who is making it. But Lady is too excited to care.Īt Knapford, Lady arrives to collect the school choir. She soon begins to make very unusual noises, which makes Destiny, Melody and Symphony wonder if something is wrong.

Toby knows that if he says he is not ready yet, the choir will get taken by somebody else, so she does not listen to him by acting like she is ready, and heads off to collect the choir without her final inspection. Then the Fat Controller comes to see if he is ready to collect the school choir for a concert. After Thomas exits the shed, James laughs at Toby and jokes that he has broken down, making him cross. After being sent for maintenance, Toby is awaiting his final inspection.
